Low sperm count, low sperm quality, male related genetic disorders and azospermia are the reasons for sperm donation treatments.
We use sperm donors from sources we trust, such as sperm banks from Denmark and the United states of America. Additional tests may be required according to the legislations of the country where the patient comes from such as Thalessemia, sickle cell anemia or cystic fibrosis. The choice of the sperm donor, depends on the recepient’s physical measures and blood type.
The female ovulation induction and oocyte pick up procedure is the first part of the treatment. ICSI ( intracytoplasmic sperm injection) is performed with the sperm of the donor and transfer of the embryo to the mother’s uterus is the final step of the treatment.
